She was not able to give a lot of details given her current situation, but she did want to offer some insight. So, she has broken her silence as to why this was necessary. Lorrana Merrifield Did Not Want To Ask For Help

When Lorrana Merrifield came to America from Brazil, she was extremely hopeful. She believed that this was her chance for a husband and a family. As Seeking Sister Wife fans know, this was not how it worked out at all. Some say she should have known how Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield operated, but that is a tall ask. Lorrana may have never seen the hit TLC reality series before committing to them. Therefore, she likely had no idea what they were truly like. Now, she is married to Garrick, has a daughter with him, and is essentially trapped and trying to figure out her next move.

Lorrana wants to divorce Garrick and be free, as he and Dannielle have made her life miserable. However, that has become impossible, so she has launched a GoFundMe. She initially explained that she could not share too many details. That left followers wondering why she was not getting support from Garrick, given that they share a child. Shouldn’t he be paying child support? Now, she has broken her silence on her needs. Lorrana did make it clear that she wants a job and is doing all that she can to provide financially. Yet, her back is somewhat against a wall.

There have been a lot of prayers sent to Lorrana and her daughter from the Seeking Sister Wife community. They do believe that Lorrana should be able to go back to Brazil if she chooses, or at the very least, have protection. This is not at all what she had anticipated when she met Garrick and moved here for him, and she has expressed that.

Still Struggling

Lorrana Merrifield is asking for $6K to start her new life. However, she is struggling to get the money that she needs to move forward. Right now, she is at 23 donations and $384, which is less than 10% of her goal. Some have noted that TLC should jump in and help Lorrana, given that they put out Seeking Sister Wife. As of now, it is unclear if the show will return for a seventh season and if the Merrifields will be a part of it. Fans are invested in the train wreck, so they would likely still watch, even with Garrick and Dannielle.
